Quinte Aikikai is a non-profit corporation, managed by its members
for the benefit of the group.
Membership: The fee is $75 per month for regular members.
Beginners: 3-month program only, includes one gi and all joining
fees, $200
Mat fees: $15 per class for active members of other CAF-affiliated
dojos only.
Beginners may take one trial class at the discretion of the Chief
Instructor. A fee of $15 will be charged. This fee may be applied
against a beginner's membership program, if the individual decides
to join. In other words, a beginner who has paid a $15 trial class
fee will pay only $185 for the balance of the three-month beginner
program, if he or she decides to join.
All members must join the
Canadian
Aikido Federation. At present, CAF membership costs $20 per
year. This fee is in addition to the beginner's package, and must be
paid every year thereafter.
All dues and fees must be paid in advance in cash or by cheque.
Fees are payable in full regardless of how often the member practices
No further discount will be made for any reason. The student is
free to attend as many, or as few, classes as he or she wishes.
A leave of absence can be arranged in advance, if the student plans
to be out of town or is otherwise unable to practice for an extended
period. The student may extend the membership beyond the leave period.
One-month, six-month and one-year programs are available. New members
must join a special three-month program, the cost of which includes
CAF membership and a gi (uniform).
